There is no wailing at our wall when the Western Wall prayer area is full of families celebrating a Bar-Mitzvah! Reserve a Table and Torah ScrollIf you are planning a simcha and would like ato reserve a table and Torah scroll at the Kotel while the family is arriving from the hotel, Rova resident Chaim Tripp can arrange to reserve a space for you as well as help with all other bar mitzvah preparations. for more information. The Ohr HaChaim SynagogueWas the Beit Midrash (study hall) of Rabbi Chaim Ben Attar who arrived in Jerusalem in 1742. The Ari HaKadosh was born in the courtyard beneath the synagogue in 1534. Now you too can join in the spiritual and historic legacy of this building!
The newly renovated Ohr HaChaim Synagogue located in the Old Yishuv Court Museum is available for hosting your bar-mitzvah on Shabbat or during the week. Kiddushes are also available upon request.
Cost for hosting a bar-mitzvah is a minimum $250 donation (which includes clean up costs). Kiddushes are available at a cost of 30 shekels per person (minimum 50 people) for a basic Kiddush of homemade cakes and cookies, herring and crackers, humus /techina/eggplant salad, drinks and paper goods. Homemade gefilte fish, Yerushalmi kugel and cholent are at an additional cost of 200 shekels each. The Convocation Hall of Yeshivat HaKotelOn Misgav Ladach Street is at the top of the stairs from the Western Wall and can hold up to 250 celebrants for your simcha. The cost of renting the hall is 2700NIS which includes tables and chairs and a clean up crew for after the event. There are dairy and meat kitchens available for your use. The hall overlooks the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives.
It is also wheelchair accessible. There is a smaller hall available as well for groups of up to 80 people. For more information please

. Don't forget to mention that you read about the hall on myrova.com Restaurant in CardoA new mehadrin meat restaurant has opened in the Cardo, in the same location as the defunct Cardo Culinarium. It is available for private simchas as well.
When you arrive at the restaurant, you are welcomed by ancient characters dressed in period costume. You can also dress up in gowns, sandals, shields, jewelry and more.
The restaurant is decorated in authentic Roman interior design and is located at #16 in the Cardo.

Breaking the glass overlooking the Temple Mount adds a special dimension that cannot be achieved anywhere else! The rooftop of Yeshivat HaKotel is available for your simcha during spring and summer months. Dates must be coordinated with the Yeshiva to insure that the Yeshiva schedule and your simcha will not interfere with each other. The Quarter CafeThe Quarter Cafe has been famous for it's panoramic view overlooking the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives ,the Southern Wall excavations and Mount Scopus. This lovely restaurant offers dairy buffet-style service and can cater for a simcha of up to 75 people. The kashrut certificate is Mehadrin Dairy. For a detailed menu please contact us.
The Keshet Restaurant For an intimate simcha of up to 40 people, the Keshet Restaurant is for you. Located in the Hurvah Square just minutes from the Kotel, Keshet offers delicious homemade foods in a pleasant surrounding either inside or outdoors.
The kashrut certificate is Mehadrin Dairy. For a detailed menu please contact us. Chaya's Gourmet KitchenAdd to your simcha with Chaya's French pastries and quiches. Her repertoire of delectable treats include Tart BourdaLoue, Sweet scones with cream, Coffee Layer Gateau and much, much more. Salads and other foods are also available. The Kashrut certificate is Badatz Mehadrin under the supervision of Rav Haramati of the Jewish Quarter. Pricelist available upon request. Simcha Hall Overlooking the KotelThe hall is located on Rechov Hakotel overlooking the Kotel. The beautifully decorated hall can seat up to 80 people, with a kitchen, 5 bathrooms and two washing stands. Air conditioned/heating. Cost: $600 for an event/$1000 for a Shabbat. Not wheel chair accessible. HaBayit HaSephardi – The Sephardic House Located at the entrance of the Jewish Quarter and only a five minute walk to the Kotel, the Sephardic House feautures 36 rooms along with 6 deluxe suites. Each room is air-conditioned with full bathroom facilities. A modern dining room opens to a beautiful courtyard and seats up to 250 people.
